How fast does time fly?

I can not believe how much time has gone by since our last blog! Where do the days go? I guess all the basketball games and holidays have been keeping us on the go. I hope that Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years were all wonderful times for you all. Ours were amazing! We stayed in SLO Town for all holidays and had family come to us. That's what we get for living near my mom and dad and for living in paradise! No point in traveling to a colder climate! Maybe in a few years we'll be ready to visit the snow, but it's so fresh in Will and my memories that we don't have much desire to return to it for a little while. Playing is fun, but it's hard to forget the cold that comes with it!

I guess I'll throw on a few pictures from the holidays that are worthy of sharing. Here goes:

Here's one of Derek and Logan before we went to Gramma and Grampa's house for Thanksgiving. Derek made all the get up at Kindergarten and was willing to share with Logan for the picture. Just too adorable not to share!

Cute little Mater near the end of November. Still small and relaxed...

And here he is with Logan a few days after Christmas...not so small and not so relaxed. He loved the bounce house as much as the boys did.
It has a great obstacle course that they all loved running around, along with the bounce house in the middle of it all. It made for many hours of fun, Will and I were able to watch "Spiderman 3" while they were outside playing. It was GREAT!

Here's all the boys after all the present melee infront of the (not so put together) tree (since it had been up for a month). I thought it would be fun to try to make it a tradition to get a shot of them infront of the tree each year to see how tall they grow throughout the year...we'll see if I remember to do it again next year!

For those of you who didn't receive a Christmas card from us this year, let me first say I'm sorry I didn't get one to you, but I'm going to make it up to you and share the picture collage that came with the card.

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a Fantastic New Years! We appreciate and love all the wonderful people that have been a part of our lives, and still are. We love you guys!!!

A Crazy Idea

I've been "tagged" by a friend, Stefanie, to tell you all six things people may not know about me. So, here it goes:

1. I secretly like teaching Gospel Doctrine, but will never fess up to it in front of someone. I enjoy learning about the Gospel in such a wonderful way.

2. I love to read, so much so that I can’t do it very often or I will ignore the kids until I finish the book. I’m a bit compulsive about having to put a book down after I’ve started reading it. It drives me crazy. Actually I’m like that in many ways. Once I start doing something I hate to quit in the middle of it. Even if I have to go to the bathroom.

3. My house is normally a disaster, or at least looks like a disaster has run through it. Don’t ever look into the Master Bedroom or you will get a real dose of what the house usually looks like. I’m going insane with so little space inside to put things. I can’t get away from the clutter! Ahhhhh!

4. I really truly and sincerely love to be with friends. I love to make friends. I love to help friends. I love to have friends come to my house, even if it is a mess, whenever they can. Once someone becomes my friend, they will always be my friend. Even if they don’t want to be. HaHa!

5. I hope to someday have a maid so I can focus more on playing with the boys and do more things with them.

6. I love to play my flute for an audience. I loved band in High School and loved playing solos. I did not love being in band at Ricks. It was way too competitive and I was way low on the totem pole compared to where I’d been in High School, and I did not like it one bit. I learned through that experience that I love to play my flute, or basically do things, when it is not forced on me. I will practice or do things because I want to, not because I have to. While taking flute lessons I was required to practice a certain amount of time, and I started to hate to play the flute. I guess you could call me bull headed, I know Will does.

Now I tag my friends Melissa White and Jessica Rasmussen. Now they get to share 6 things other people may not know about them.

All Hallows Eve

So, we went Trick or Treating with Brennan and Tracie and their kids, and my friend Adrienne and her boys, and Dad. What a great time. The weather was wonderful, and the kids had a blast!

Here's all the kids together while we were out. What a group of crazy boys! Emree was along for the ride as a horse, endearingly known as "My Little Pony", so cute!

This night Kaleb was Stretch from the Fantastic 4,

Derek was Tigger,

Tyler was Spiderman,
and Logan was as cute as a mouse.

But best of all was Gramma's reaction when they all showed up at her doorstep. She knows how to make us all feel loved! All in all it was a great Halloween.

Halloween Happenings

So first off, we went to Avila Barn for a Mother's Group activity, and had a blast! It was fun being there with so many friends!

Here are some new pictures of Mater. He's growing so fast. He's now longer than a 1 ft ruler and eating hard food. He is just a bundle of joy, even though he still needs some house training.

I was able to join in on the fun at Kaleb's Harvest party. Here he is putting a pumpkin spider together with his friend Ryan S. It seems they are doing a lot together at school as of late.

Here's our Halloween pumpkins. Tyler carved the Cat, Kaleb carved the Bats, Logan's was the Ghost (Will carved it), I carved the Diva and Alien. Derek carved an amazing pumpkin face, but his pumpkin went kaput before we could get pictures. We had a blast Monday night carving them all.

Family Fun

We have a new addition to our family...a tiny little puppy! He is so adorable! He is now a little over 4 weeks old and thriving amazingly. We've named him "Mater" as in "Tow" "Mater". :)

Alison's Brother, K.C., and Sister-in-law, Sarah, came to visit San Luis for a couple days. We've missed them SO much since we moved from Utah. It was great to play with them while they were here. We can't wait to see them again!!

Kaleb's 8th Birthday

Kaleb's birthday was very special. Will's Mom and Dad came out from Maryland so they could be here for Kaleb's baptism. It was wonderful to have them here, we can't wait for the next time we get to see them. The first thing Kaleb got to do on his birthday was get Baptized.

It was such a wonderful experience. Many friends and family were able to attend. We thank everyone that was there for their love.

Ever since that day, Kaleb has really learned what it means to have the Holy Ghost with him. He loves to do all the things that are pleasing unto the Lord. It's wonderful to see him grow and learn to Choose the Right. What a great example he sets for his brothers, for his Mom and Dad, and all his friends.

Derek's Party

Derek turned 5 in July, I just never got around to posting this fun event. He was able to have a friend party, where everyone had a blast. There's nothing like a water balloon toss. His theme was Superman so I was ambitious and made a cake for him. Everyone had a fantastic time, especially Derek.
