Doped Up
I went to the doctor yesterday because my back has been giving me fits for the last 3 or so months. I tried to ignore it as much as possible; I even went to the chiropractor to see if he could help. Nothing has given me much long term pain relief. So the doctor (as wise and as knowledgeable as they all are) said to try drugging myself up, take it easy, and call if it doesn't get better in a couple weeks. Well, the drugs are definitely taking most of the pain away, but now I'm non functional. I think was awake for about 5 hours today, maximum. Will was bringing boxes for me to go through...he was laughing about my slow reaction time. I find that if it's my idea out of my own head, my reaction time is fine. But if I have to think about what someone has said, or is trying to give me something, it becomes like a slow motion picture movie. My brain is not working as it should. At least Will is working from home, so if I'm unable to move my body for any reason (like right now) he can respond if necessary. I'll finish this up later, Clayton and Kaillee just got here. Have a great evening!

Memories...
Fun if you want to participate
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember.
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see all the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume your playing the game and I will come to your blog and leave one about you.

Sorry for the delay
Ok, we've moved. We're no longer in California...paradise. We're now in Tennessee...a very different kind of paradise. It is so beautiful here. Picture lush dense trees, green hills and valleys, fire flies, clean air, a bit of humidity, rain, amazing neighbors...put it all together and that's what our experience has been so far. We miss so many wonderful people: family, friends, teachers, playmates. But we look forward to getting to know more friends and playmates. The neighbors already invited us over for dinner the day our stuff arrived. We were able to chat with them and our neighbors on the other side of us, also. Both of these neighbors have children, so that makes for a much easier transition for the boys. They were bugging me all day if they could see if they could play with their friends and I had to keep telling them that they would come over if they could play (they were told this by the step mother of the children). But they couldn't contain their excitement to play...it was cute.
I'll have more to update later...I really need to get to bed. But I thought a little glimpse as to what's going on in our life might be nice. I have a lot of unpacking to do...so who knows how long it will be before I update again...but it will be done at some point. :) I still have yet to share our vacation to Utah and northern California...lovingly dubbed our "Guilt Trip" by my sister, since we were moving so far away from all my family.
